I connected directly to +/- on coil. Other than a small issue with passing pre-terminated terminals through the side of the dizzy everything went smooth and started up instantly.
Could you 'Macgyver' a test set-up using your timing light to confirm the continuous presence of spark off the cap? I've done this before when I had a significant miss. Reading your other thread it appears that you can easily replicate the problem.
It's on the list. Priorities were getting brake lights and running lights working consistently, stop headlights from flashing randomly, and reducing numerous leaks. I have a leak from the speedo cable so while I'm under there....
I bought the same one for my 300 and would describe the fit as "ok". It just barely covered the existing hole and doesn't snug real well. It works for now but I will continue searching for an original.
