WANTED 1971 Polara hood release cable assembly

You may want to find out the part number and try to find a NOS one. One from the formal years might work too if you can find one. I repaired one of mine with an extra long brake line for a tandem bicycle and a metal eye for small wire rope as the handle. I wrapped the handle in electrical tape...

    WANTED Idaho Licence Plate "Elk"

Are you simply looking for an Idaho plate of any form? Seems like folks are thinking you want a specific or vanity plate. I didn't read it that way. The elk plates have only been around for around a decade, so may not be the most applicable. Vintage plates were plain and simple. I personally am...

WANTED 8 34 Rear end housing around 57 to 58 flange to flange

There are a couple of different widths for C body axle housings. Chryslers with the overhanging quarters have the narrow one, Dodges with full openings have the wider one. It's about a 2-3 inch difference. Axles from one won't work in the other. I have both laying around, I'll take the...

WANTED Newport 72 4Door Hardtop Dashboard green

I've never had a '73, however I have pulled a good dash pad from a '72 Newport that was the exact same as my '71 and "70 Newport's. I can't say for sure, but I'm quite certain '69's are the same. I Also believe all fuselage Chrysler dash pads are the same (not confirmed for '69 or '73)...

    WANTED Sunroof Cables

Congratulations! I hope the new place works for you. And I'm no computer expert by far, but I believe the original poster receives any posts to the thread. I'll try the circle a thing I just figured out. Just went up and saw you beat me to it, cheers!

    WANTED Sunroof Cables

I would bet (and hope for you) the manual Cordoba ones will work. The broken ones in my '71 New Yorker were actually 64 inches total length, my memory was close! The replacements that I found were from a '77 New Yorker, which has a smaller roof and roof opening, yet had the same length cables...

    WANTED Sunroof Cables

I notice you specified manual sunroof cables, are they for a C body? I thought all C's were power, A's and B's had manual. I've worked on a few C's, the cables were 62 or 63 inches long. Smaller roof, and being manual may mean smaller cables? What's wrong with yours? I had to dig into mine due...

WANTED 1970 Chrysler 300 or Newport Dash Pad

That would be my advice, can't hurt to try. Mine had a thick film that was absolutely disgusting, under all that grossness was a perfect Dash pad! Be sure to wear gloves when using degreaser!

WANTED 1970 Chrysler 300 or Newport Dash Pad

The oil comes from the pad itself. It may be a pain, however the upside is a dash with no cracks! I had to degrease and moisturize mine three or four times before it was truly clean. I used spray nine, or a similar degreaser, at half strength, followed by a heavy application of formula 303.

WANTED Ignition switch for a -71 New Yorker

I once thought I had a bad one, and spent a few hours installing it, only to find it was the ballast resistor. Changed it in ten seconds and was on my way. Felt stupid that day. So did you check it?

SOLD Bucket seats + Center console 70 C-Body

A body seats might bolt in, they would look out of place though. They're far to small. B and E body's are a bit bigger, yet still too small for our big C's.
