    Tallights and brake lights

Any difference when the turn signal switch is set to left or right? Does it blink with the normal light or with brake light? Haven't checked the wiring diagram but if someone worked on the turn signal switch and crossed the wires or the switch itself is shorting something like this could happen...

Electrial fuse box question - 1969 chrysler new yorker

The dual pink/orange connector is for a console, pink in continues 12V and the orange is switched 12V from the light switch, that's the one you need.

    intermitten one brakelight issue

Turn signal switch, it also switches the brake signal to the left/right brake lights depending on the position of the lever. If the turn signal lever is in "neutral" both brake lights should work, if not there is a bad or worn contact in the switch.

    simple electric fuel pump wiring

mmmm I thought eyemon only has an electric pump that is switched on the oil pressure sensor, he added the timer relay to get the pump running as soon as the ignition contact goes to run so the bowls will be filled before you start cranking and thus giving an easy start of the engine. I think...

    Strange problem this a.m.

Typical ignition switch problem. The black wire is a switched 12v coming from the ignition switch, it powers the turn signal switch, the wipers and half of the fuse box. If this one is worn out that will account for the failing of the turn signals and wipers. The brown wire from the ignition...

    Strange problem this a.m.

The problem with some electric parts stopping can be caused by the switched 12v coming from the ignition switch (the black wire), so either the ignition switch is starting to fail or there's a problem in the connector/ wiring to the switch.

    Brake and running lights problems

Small correction on my reply; the tag light is powered from the left rear lights wiring. It looks like the brake/turn light wiring is used as ground for the rear lights, since the left turn signal isn't working I would recheck the grounds of the taillight housings starting on the left.

Need Help! 69 Newport "Brake System Light" always on!

Second that, worst case valve is sticky, it has been in the same position for 20-30 years and has switched now into the unknown (dirt, rust?). Bleeding the front brakes will probably be the best cure. Are you pressure bleeding or vacuum bleeding the brakes?

    Brake and running lights problems

Check the turn signal switch in the steering column, it's probably worn down, needs cleaning or has to be replaced. All power to the brake lights and rear turn signals run trough it and are switched by it. Also check its wiring that runs down the steering column, it may be damaged somewhere. I...
