I am taking the 68 Fury. I will be in the 67-68 "C" body Stock class. I took this picture yesterday that the show at the Newport RI Navy Base car show. Unfortunately about 6 minutes after taking this picture one of the navy people got out of a service van and left it in gear and it drove into...

    '68 Fury washer nozzles

They are defiantly different. They might be able to be bent to work, but are not the same. I have a 68 Fury and a 72 Dart in my garage next to each other and just took a look at the two and compared them. The Fury has the double screw while the "A" Body has the single mounting screw and mount...

Fan Shroud for 1967 Plymouth Sport Fury Needed

From what I remember the 65 to 68, 22” radiator shroud is the same for all 22" "C" Body radiators. If it is a 318 with A/C or a 383. All the 22" radiators use the same multi-piece shroud. The metal reproduction B-body units are close, but do require some slotting of the mounting tabs. I also...

anybody know a good 727B rebuilder in the New England area?

Then two best people I know closest to that area are chryslerdon on this forum. He is located in Smithfield RI. I don't know if he has the space for the entire car since he has a 300F and a 300E in the garage apart, but would probably be up for bench jobs. He built me a great transmission for my...

    Where's the wires go?

Here are some pictures of my 68 Fury Convertible. The pictures in the area between the grill and the radiator didn't come out as clean as I hoped. With the flat black of the paint and the black of the wires, it is tough to see the detail. I used a drop light it and whitened the pictures and lost...

    Fender harness straps

I got the ones for my 68 Fury from Vans at Carlisle. The package said 69-70 C-body, but they matched up with with one of the originals that I took off the car. It even had the correct bump out for the washer hose. Not sure if the 65 Fury would be the same.

Question about 1967 Plymouth Fury popularity

Owning a 68, it seems to me, that the most I see are 66's, then the 67's, then 68's, then 70's. Of all the 50's and 70's Fury's, I far prefer the 67 and 68 style, with the 68 slightly more mainly because of the rear taillights. Just my opinion. If I was to get another, I would be equally happy...

    Power drum brake conversion question

The original manual master was a 4 bolt with the bottom 4 holes in the being used. The bottom most two bolts in the mounting plat were pressed from the master and bolted under the dash. The two above that are pressed from under the dash outward and nutted on the master. The pedal rod goes...

    Power drum brake conversion question

Thanks, I will have to check into it. Most of the articles I was able find are for converting from Drum to power disc and not from manual to power drum. I have also seen a few plastic adapter brackets, but I would prefer not to go that route.

    Power drum brake conversion question

I am in the process of restoring my 68 fury and decided while the motor and steering column out, to upgrade the manual drum brakes to power drum. I picked up a booster-master combo with the new pedal rod and went to bolt it up; and found that the original mounting studs in the firewall plate are...
