I am replacing brake lines on my 78 Magnum. My question is about the retaining clips on the firewall and frame rails. Do I pry them open and lift out the lines and then re-close them? Or open them up a little and drift them out with a piece of hardwood 1x2? Or leave them as is and drift them...

I had the same problem. I finally bought a new master. Before going through the hassle of replacing the whole thing I tried the hold down from the new one on the old one and it fixed the problem!

I had the 'stoner Destinations on a 2004 Dakota Quad cab 2-wheel drive. I liked them very much. They were quieter than the O.E. Goodyears and good snow traction, even when there was a lot of it during some mid-west winters.
