    Piedmont MOPAR show drag racing

If that was last weekend I'm sure turn out was impacted by the Auto Fair. Also, I went to the Auto Fair and that was the smallest crowd there that I have ever seen. Looks like they will be having a MoPar show at Farmington Oct 16. Hopefully I can make that one.

    Dodge EV Day 2021

I don't particularly want that, but I don't doubt it. These modern machines can already drive/operate on their own with initial input/programing from the operator and just little corrections here and there.

    Dodge EV Day 2021

That's actually impressive. How does it stack up/convert on the hp ratings? Say at the PTO. That's actually not far off from what my 30 hp Kubota will do on a tank. Although my recharge time is much quicker and I'm only dependent on what cans/barrel I can transport.

Or you start doing actual work and it needs to run 8 hr or more everyday. For an old tractor turned toy it's fine. Not for me, but it works.

    Dodge EV Day 2021

Would it happen to be this one? U.S. Electricity Grid & Markets | US EPA If so I'll take a look at it when I can.

    Dodge EV Day 2021

Here's a question for anyone who knows. As the batteries in an EV degrade and weaken over time does the power output from the motor also weaken accordingly? Lets say a 3 year old battery in a 1,000 hp EV is only capable of 80% of it's original capacity, will the EV now be limited to 80% of its...

    Dodge EV Day 2021

This will take us off-the-rails a bit, but that doesn't quite sound correct. Since solar is only produced during day time hours, which is peak demand (on-peak time is defined as 7am-11pm in USA), there cannot be any true off-peak production of solar energy. With the inconsistency of wind and the...

    Small block 59 Chevy ...WOW

I love some tri-fives. They have some beautiful lines. I do agree that they are often way too common, just like many of the pony cars, but every now and then I'll stubble across a really nice factory original car or one with just the right mods. I do favor the 58-66 cars though, especially with...

Straight out the back (axle side). It's a two piece shaft supported by a carrier bearing inside of the tunnel.

    NA$CAR CRYBABIES

I read your post and thought it'd be interesting to see a V-twin "western-ride" type of road racing. Then I found this on utube

    NA$CAR CRYBABIES

The NASCAR guys do seem to be *****-boys nowadays. That in-car shot looks like a typical rainy day drive on Hwy 85 through Charlotte, probably at similar speeds. :steering:

    Small block 59 Chevy ...WOW

Yep, X-frame were under all full size GM cars '58-'64, and Cadilliac '57-66 (?). Front-to-back they are strong. Side-to-side/twisting not so much. If you jack up one corner on a hardtop or convertible car the doors will not open. Actually they twist so much that the '62-64 hardtop cars are bad...

    Small block 59 Chevy ...WOW

Those X-frames will twist pretty easily, but I think that '60 is set up to go a little extreme for some reason. Of course I don't really know how much of the X frame is left in that '60

    Small block 59 Chevy ...WOW

A little less, especially being a race car. If I remember correctly the hardtops (Impala) are on the books at ~4200 lbs. Convertibles added about 500 lbs. Post cars (Biscayne & Bel Air) are ~200 lbs lighter than hardtops. Are my Chevy roots showing yet? :p
