thanks for the replies. It seems to fixed itself after a 100 mile drive. I do notice the instrument cluster backlights flicker slightly like a turn signal when I put the key on acc or run, they dim up and down slightly in a rhythm. That with the lights on

Thats a for sure on the park lights up front? off when headlights are on?

Not sure whats going on but the high beam light is acting funny. comes on with the park lights and on low beam. high beam it shuts off. All the lights are working....anyone seen that before?

I had some dead bulbs in the tail lights and the turn signals wouldn't work "flash" till I replaced the bulbs. the sockets needed to be grounded also on the inner ones. I'd say the same goes for the front ones too Where is the hazard light switch on a 66?

I am trying to figure out what pertronix I need. 1381A or 1385ls The 1381a has a spring tab on the rotor and mine is a flat blade I think for now I will file these pionts and set the gap .017" Its not going anywhere for a few months anyway

I think its a IBP and those are Prestolite IBP2040LA Standard AL5486P points maybe? The tag does say IBP-4005H also

I need a vacuum advance and probably points. Has anyone used the pertonix on these? thanks
