I just swapped the 318 for a 383 in my 65 Polara the original 318 driveshaft slipped right in like it was born there there was no change in the location of the tranny mount,,, Might help.. Catfish 65

Completed the gasket change with a new cork gasket and at this point all is well. I did check pan face with a straight edge and it was good No leaks so far, Thanks for all the input,,
