    68 Sport Fury 4 speed

I pulled it from FB last week. But yes, that is probably one of several reasons a person would not want to buy this car. It's going to be a ton of work, and unless someone has the resources, they likely end up like me and all the folks before me. Either way, I have pics now and will be...

    68 Sport Fury 4 speed

I do not. Why, would anyone on here be interested???? JK! I'll consider it. I tend to go through phases of being on this site every day for periods of time and then nothing at all. I've been in the nothing at all phase for a while which would explain why I spaced this.

    68 Sport Fury 4 speed

For sale along with my 68 III. Focus shifted to my T&C Wagon and then the Dart, so this one just never got off the ground. I'm virtually giving them away at $2K for both, just think no one wants to handle the logistics of hauling off two rollers. Listed on FB in the Topeka area.

Can't find a Speedo cable to fit

Awesome, I was completely turned around and thinking the odometer reset went up top. I am extremely thankful for you guys helping me figure this one out.

Can't find a Speedo cable to fit

I tried that, no reply for over a month. I've reached out to a few different folks and figured as common as this set up looks from other instrument heads for sale, someone should know if I'm missing a part or which cable I need. Did wagons in 68 come with something weird?

Can't find a Speedo cable to fit

I have had a terrible time since the day I made the mistake of tossing the original speedo cable for the 68 Town and Country, but what am I missing here? I have looked at many instrument heads online and they all have the same 3/8" OD threaded fitting, while all the cables I try come with 5/8"...

    68 Fury Factory Tach??

Another question as I am in full research mode today with it misting and cold here and not much else getting done. 4 door and 2 door quarters interchange? At least from the wheel well back? Thanks

    68 Fury Factory Tach??

Yeah, ive always heard the tach down there was troublesome and down right dangerous. I've actually got a SW Greenline Tach I could mount, originally bought it for my 68 GTS but its an automatic so not really a necessity. It has a much bigger dial and illuminates better too. I'd really rather...

    68 Fury Factory Tach??

Ouch, those console tachs are crazy expensive! Thanks for the help. FURYGT, I ended up with that grille emblem from a few days ago. You were right on, that looked mint and even though I have 2 that one went to the front of the line for the build. Don't see many of these out there.

    68 Fury Factory Tach??

Quick question, would the factory Tach in a 68 Sport Fury have been mounted on the console if so equipped or would it have been in the gauge cluster? It is a 4 Speed car. I assume console since the car was also optioned with the clock in the dash, but just wanting to be sure before I go...

    Quarter Panels Interchange

I need some help because I don't want to buy on an assumption, but I found a 67 NOS quarter panel section for sale and wondered will the 67 and 68 Fury quarters interchange? The rears of these cars look very similar but I wasn't sure if the bumper/quarter extensions/wheel openings so on varied...

    Headlight door stops

I'd just find a door from a 95-96 F-150 and slap it on there. Should bolt right on.

    68 Sport Fury 4 speed

Just ignorant enough to not know what I don't know. I'm like a pioneer, it's either going to pay off with every summer night after it's completed or I'm going to end up broke and ruined somewhere along the way. Thanks

    68 Sport Fury 4 speed

My Fury 3 has rot on the quarters but it's mostly low whereas the Sport Fury had a tire blow and it pretty well mangled the passenger side. My thought as of now was to cut the whole quarter from back to front off the Sport and cut the whole quarter off the 3. I could then switch them over to...

    68 Sport Fury 4 speed

Broke 5 drill bits and my 1/4 punch trying to remove the rag joint pin to pull the steering column. Needs heat but I'm thirsty and am going to put it off for now. Oh well.

    68 Sport Fury 4 speed

Well I would say that this is a lesson learned. I mocked em up yesterday and thought, "hum, this doesn't seem quite right". So short of finding a 68 with good quarters for parts, what are my options? And thank you to everyone providing feedback on these panels. I'm going to message the...

    68 Sport Fury 4 speed

Well, they were pretty well priced and weren't MADE IN CHINA so I'm hoping for the best. Could you be a bit more specific with what happened so I can look out for it when I try it?
