    So Kevin, I guess essentially, id buy the rods and use a bernzomatic torch and just melt the rod in the uneven part of the hole, filling it in?

    Thanks for all the input guys. I think I'm going to drill out the hole slightly bigger, where its then even and add a metal sleeve/shim. Probably the easiest route

    well I've been trying to figure out why my alternator has been Slightly misaligned. Finally found the culprit. The mounting hole is "wallered" out causing it to tilt in when you tension the belt on. Hopefully this will help someone else. Any suggestions on a quick fix, extremely hard to find...

    Update*** -removed ECU and grounded it properly and added a grounding strap just to be safe. -replaced ballast resistor with new unit. -installed newer batteries terminals and positive wire from alternator to battery(was on my list of things to do) -installed new battery. -replaced that one...

    Thanks Dave, and as far as the coil showing only 3.6v with the key turned to accessories, is that too low? Shouldn't it show near the same as battery?
