If you google "metric bike" you may find an explanation. Frankly, I'd never seen the term "Metric Mopar" except in this forum. But the hostility has been around since the mid 2000's for sure. I saw it first hand at a Mopar show at Bill Luke Dodge in Phoenix around 2007.

Metric Mopars are newer cars that supposedly use all metric fasteners. Hellcats, 4 door Chargers, Ram Trucks, etc. It's a form of bigotry among Mopar owners with "metric" being the "n word". Some Bikers describe non Harley V-twins with the same term, although I see it with less frequency, and...

I remember walking a lot at the old venue (Dakota County Fairgrounds) They parked us way out in some un mowed grass and we walked a long way. There was no way to see it all in the hours allotted that day, much less the swap meet.
