    1973 Newport Caliper Search

For what it's worth, RockAuto sells the pistons and the seals for the calipers, so the only thing you'd really need to do is hone your cylinder bore (or have a shop do it for you), and then you'd just put it in there. The piston and gaskets came out to around 30-40 bucks, I want to say?

TheRamMan was slammed here a while back for marketing C-Body spindles as being bolt on, the dimensions on his were WAY off compared to the OEM spindles used on the C bodies...I wouldn't trust him.

I wasn't aware mobileparts rebuilt calipers, I have a set that could use rebuilding. I even have the piston and seals. How much does he usually run?

    The 1973 Chrysler Thread

I'm not usually a fan of the rally-eye wheels on the formal sedans but I like the look on that one specifically. I don't know if some of those came standard with trim or if they're added on after but those are nice.

I got Rick Ehrenburg's kit on eBay, he sells one that looks just like this and is far cheaper - although his has a HIREV7500 box instead of the orange box. His kit I believe is designed for the OEM coil as well. He seems to be well spoken of so I trust it's a good kit. Although to my...

    How to service A/C?

Although I just now realized this is a 71 Monaco and not a 68 Chrysler, which is where I got that from - I...don't think there would be a difference in charge? Even for R12 - I would look at that @ayilar. As far as my educated guess goes it'd be the exact same system but there might be a few...

    How to service A/C?

The spec I was referring to was from the FSM, which is for R12 - which probably explains the range of 4 ounces for charge being acceptable, compared to what r134a would be in this case. My point was more that topping it off is bad regardless. In this case I would probably do around 3 lb 4 oz...

    How to service A/C?

If your system has no charge and you know that to be the case use a dye and UV to attempt to locate it - probably by unscrewing one of the lines to the condenser and squirting some in there while engine is sitting (since the system isn't running while sitting and therefore the refrigerant finds...

    Custom gauge cluster

These old cars had a surprising amount of diagnostic information on the dashes if I'm perfectly honest, only thing I would change/add is replace the clock (which I don't even have) with a square tachometer setup, if such a thing existed. In the same styling as the rest anyways. I have a 68...
