    Clean fuse block contacts

Soak in thinner or brake cleaner to remove all oil and then overnight on citric acid or shorter dip into phosphoric acid. I guess that day or two in coca cola might do the job too after good degreasing. Remember to rinse well after acid dip. Could add some baking soda to rinse water to...

    ebay distributor

I have cheapo ebay one on my 300 and ram charger. The bundled chinese coil gave up after one summer on RC and I replaced the original "HEI" ignition module with name brand 4 terminal gm HEI module before finding out that the problem was with the coil. With new coil, it works like a charm...

1969 Fury III reverse lights come on in reverse or drive.

My guess would be wrong switch. I had newer style switch on older transmission and it had the same problems.

    1969 Chrysler 300 no start

Starts to sound quite strange. Are you 100% sure that the short block is original? If not here is one almost absurd idea: reverse rotation marine block/cam? Did you mention that the previous owner did not get it running either?

    1969 Chrysler 300 no start

One more thought. My Ram van died years ago on a grocery parking lot and I verified on site that I was getting spark and fuel (it had tbi) but it was still dead. Towed it home and I managed to get it barely running by retarding the timing a lot but it felt like running super lean popping and so...

    15 Volts

Still bit high as I would be happier with something like 14.2v at max but it could be that your regulator has taken some internal damage from the overcharging. You could swap the regulator into so called heavy duty aftermarket model which is also adjustable but still looks completely stock. I...

    15 Volts

The blue wire should come directly from the ign switch. The switch itself would be pretty tricky to disassemble for cleaning though it is possible. At least on mine, the end plate with the contacts has bended tabs over it and the tabs are so thick that I think that they would break if tried to...

    15 Volts

Well I still think you have a voltage loss on your ignition switch. Therefore you have over 15 volts at battery posts and roughly 1 volt less at the blue wire coming from the switch at ballast resistor. The regulator senses the charging voltage from that blue wire and now that you have voltage...

    Does a leak-proof battery exist?

Any agm battery should do the job. I prefer optima bluetops which are designed for boat use but are great for cars also. Especially for ones that are parked for winter

    15 Volts

I would suspect ignition switch. You might have voltage drop there which would also explain higher charging voltage as the sense voltage to the regulator comes from ignition switch

Reverse lights on while in drive

Incorrect neutral safety switch on transmission or the one you have has just failed if the lights have been working previously. I had same problem in my challenger and the problem was with wrong switch.

Denso alternator upgrade - not the 60amp mini

Already over midnight in Finland so no pics for tonight. I will try to get some pics tomorrow. It just means some car tetris in the carage as Challenger is currently on the lift up in the air and my Fury us parked below it :D

Denso alternator upgrade - not the 60amp mini

I have one in a Challenger with 383. I'm running it with stock voltage regulator. I had to make some spacers to get the belt line correct as well as work with the plastic battery connection cover. I filed the locating tab from the cover and rotated it so that the cable exits in better direction...
