    Time for another upholstery project. I have 6 barstools with bonded leather that are peeling off. So I ordered about 9 yards of leather look fabric to re do. I have one taken apart and marked up for tracing patterns. My new fabric will match my couch.

    Leave the fuel cap on. The tank is vented. I would still leave the cover on. The humidity will freeze or equalize and go away. It’s not like Spokane is that humid.

    unless you are in a controlled stable climate you will get condensation as the temperature changes. Try a couple of boxes of Damprid it may help reduce the internal condensation.

    Power Steering Gear Leak - '68 300

    Before you loosen those bolt take a scribe and mark a line between the valve body and the case. That will give you a good starting point on alignment when you re- assemble. Yes when you restart it your steering wheel may go to one side and kill the engine. It is a matter of finite adjustment.

    Half of your power into the car comes through the fuseable link right before the bulkhead connector. Check to make sure you have continuity through it. Also check the corrosion of your bulkhead connections.

    Side-view mirror not factory?

    I am tall enough that I can see the top trim on the right rear quarter through the back window. Also great visibility out the side windows. If I had one on there I’d probably use it. But don’t plan on running out to find one.

    Magnum 500 look great on this body and were an option in’68 (at least in 14”). I will have to look in the accessories book to recall the 15” road wheels for’68.

    Nice Burgundy Metallic , same as my’68 Polara. Looks like it already has the upgraded 15” tires and the correct white walls. Search tire and wheel survey. Or what size tires fit. On this site and you will get 1,000’s of different opinions.

    That would be great. I need to go in and rebuild mine as well I think in my case only the back cap pressed off. I need to drill out and use new rivets. I thought I had fixed it, but got a little strong when closing it one day last summer.
