New to me 78 NYB on its way but please Don't tell my wife

Sometimes you have to bring everything back the way the engineers and designers intended just to experience what they had in mind. Plus the undaunted challenge to do so. Now that it is dialed in as intended and you have excellent knowledge on how the systems work (good or bad) you can now do the...

An Exercise in 1974 Mopar Colors

Another deep dive into the depths of Mopar. I love this stuff, but have little input for these “modern” cars.

It will be fine. Typically torque converters are balanced with their own little weight (if required to true up from manufacturing). Bolt it up and drive.

74 Fury - Wiper Link Clip

It looks to be a basic C-clip. May be found at a good hardware store. Although does the original clip have some depth? Can’t tell from this angle.

When was the last production day for C-Bodies?

Only 4 years and 4 months from the original post and down to 15 cars from the end. Good sleuthing.

Its because the right side is further away from your power source. I think you need a bigger wire for the right side, replace your fuse-able link and maybe your ballast resistor.

What I learned about 74-78 ATC II

I don’t even have ATC II, (or even an A/C car) but this intrigued me as I was following your other thread.

Just a thought, but a serious one

Your car your wallet. Unless you are a body guy and have hours to sand and prep the big beast. Leave it be. There is no such thing as a $3,000 quality paint job on a car that big at least based on my recent experience. You have a lot of square footage to work with, It will take twice the...
