i agree, what a waste to have such a beautiful car and not enjoy it. I would think the wipers work…they have probably never been turned on, the car is always inside LOL.

Formal wheel opinion - Factory wheel covers or Chrome Road Wheels??

That Gran Fury coupe is a beauty, i haven’t seen one in person in years. Whether you stay with full wheel-covers or get road wheels. it is a car I would be happy to own and drive.

Has anyone ever won a car show with their C body?

The few car shows I attend are not for a trophy but to support a local charity, such as the Boy Scouts, local volunteer fire depts, VFW or American Legion. My car is far from concours and is probably closer to a level 3 car than a 2. But I did receive a 1st in show at a Boy Scout car show. LOL...

    Out and about

I like the style of the Royal Monaco coupes. Rarely see them, thanks for posting the photos. Do you think it's a daily driver? I can't make it out too clearly, but it seems to be in nice shape if it is a car driven regularly during Michigan winters.

To white wall or not to white wall

I don't mind white letter tires on slabs and fusies, but not a fan of them on formals.

To white wall or not to white wall

I would keep the road wheels on, but would add white walls. I have the Cooper Trendsetter radials on my Chrysler. Nice looking New Yorker.

Old Test Drive Video of 1978 New Yorker Salon

Well the 79 New Yorker got some decent reviews for the interior and driving dynamics, but those electrical gremlins must have really hurt owner loyalty. The power window ,locks, hazard lights, the clock, the flashing map light, no brake lights. Wow, and that wasn't over time....all on a test...
