2023 the year of no progress for the ‘68

Congratulations! I could not add any better comments that what has already been said. I do hope you can hold onto the car and start working on it again. I have had mine for over four years and I just got it road worthy about 5 months ago.

    JJ's 69 300 Restoration

Coming right along and making progress! Just to re-state something quickly. I like to see a car original as well. But, due to the scarcity of the c-body parts and the widely different budgets everyone has everyone may not be able to accomplish that. So, with that in mind if someone keeps a...

    JJ's 69 300 Restoration

Nice car and work. Look forward to updates as you get more done. The main thing to me is you are improving the car and keeping it on the road. That is a win, even if myself or the next person would have done something different. I would always rather see a car being saved and or improved and...

Anytime! I hope you have good luck with the Plastic polish. I would like to tell you I had some special procedure no one knows but..... I would only be lying. All I did was wash the bumpers first and I used the blue magic 2-3 times and you see the result. I believe the blue magic uses a...

Hi Ayilar, Thank you for the kind words! I have included an earlier link (below) to a post that shows some of the products I used so I apologize for the repetition. I used the Blue Magic Chrome Polish on the bumpers and I have used it on other vehicles. I really like it. Cleaning Products Link:

I believe you and I bet it does do a good job. The dirt was literally caked on the spokes. The aggressive soap I used did not even look like it had been cleaned after washing them 3 times. So, I resorted to trying different polishes and I found one that worked well, but I had to go over it...
