Hello from germany / 440 New Yorker

https://www.hiltopautoparts.com/product/nos-mopar-left-tail-pipe-hanger-1967-71-c-body-383-440-dual-exhaust/ I also have an old one like that that I've kept for some reason. And I note that Hilltop has one listed (NOS) for $175. I don't know why they say it's for 383/440 dual exhaust, because...

    hello all

As far as I can tell, this car wasn't ever spotted here for sale. Where did you see it? Craigs list? BAT? Fecebook? Ebay?

    hello all

Polara tail lights, but MONACO spelled out on the trunk, and correct Monaco front grill. But I don't see any badges on the door panels. Factory A/C, seats look to be in great shape, as is the dash pad and arm rests. Side trim is all there. Can't quite make out the build date from the fender...

    Hello C Body Forum

Hello SittingSince85. At least cover this car with a tarp to prevent more decay. Your pictures and story have, I'm sure, brought some tears to some eyes here. There will be a metal tag, about the size of a credit card, screwed onto the top of the wheel housing in the engine compartment on the...

    Hello

I got the VIN decoding from here: https://www.allpar.com/threads/chrysler-vin-decoding-1926-2005-dodge-plymouth-desoto-jeep.229947/ For '66 they don't show what the first 2 digits (CM) decode for. Presumably C is Chrysler, but the M for Series is unlisted. Everything I've read about C-body...

    Hello

Would they have put disk brakes on the front for a 440 car? I think in Canada it was required with that engine yes? Is there any trace of paint on the fender tag?

Video Walk-around of my '66 Newport 2 door hardtop

I was going to say, before you said it, that the LED's won't flash. You'll need to modify the flasher relay, it's based on current draw.

Looking for good advice. I have something special.

The OP hasn't been seen here since July last year. But thanks to the recent post I'm now seeing this thread. The OP said he's in Woodstock, which isin't that far from me. That prompted me to check out kiji to see if there are any '66 Plymouth Fury's for sale, which there are (2 of them) but...

Autogas - compressed natural gas? Yes, it seems that it was becoming popular in the Netherlands at the start of this year to convert to natural gas, but I wonder how that's working out so far this year? Very impressive car. I can't imagine what it needs for restoration. Welcome - from...

Very Nice. What's under the hood? I miss my '65 4-door Polara (with a /6).

    Welcome, MoPar~Man

Well, I can't put these same wheels on the front. The nose of the wheel drum won't go through the hole in the wheel (even if I take the center cap off the wheel). And at the same time the back side of the tire is touching the tie rod. The lug studs are about 1/2 inch from just coming through...

    Welcome, MoPar~Man

The wheels / tires from a 300m (225-55-17) will fit on the rear of the '67 Monaco. Tire diameter is really close to original (G78-14), but is wider. Eye-balling it, tire is centered in the wheel well, with room for a finger between the backside of the tire and the leaf springs. I'll be trying...
