Hey Guys, I was hoping to get some advice on where to chop the quarters on my 1968 Chrysler Newport. We are going to the junkyard (Ayottes) that has many C-body's soon and I am hoping I can get some sheetmetal to repair my vert. I want to take as little as necessary to keep costs...

There is some rust in that panel so I am not totally scared.

Does anyone here know if you can fit the tail light assemblies from a 1968 Chrysler 300 onto a same year Newport? I really like the 300 backup lights and longer brake lights....would be a cool upgrade IMHO.

1st photo is present color of car, 2nd photo is of original color in trunk....big difference. Paint supply is going to match up some touch-up paint for me digitally so I can fix the bubbles over the rear wheels...pretty nasty.

Mine is a much brighter blue. I'll try to post up a good accurate photo of it tomorrow.

If that's Consort(not "corset" or "concert") blue then my car was repainted something else I guess.
