The desoto ute is awesome. There is one in the states by a guy named Lee exline. He's probably the authority on all things ute.

I have two of the AU utes, love'em. One is a 6/3 on the tree and the other is a 360/727 conversion. Both right hand drive.

Now I have to watch it since opinions are all over the place. I've toyed with the idea of doing an online show from our garage. if I can get out of the current business I'm in, I'll likely explore it.

I might replace the blue carpet, depending on how long it would take to get. The black carpet has been replaced at some point. Might throw some sound deadening down while all of this out.

Have the seats out of both. At the interior shop to see how close they can match the original. Red was really worn, on iggy, just the driver seat. Easier to take him everything since it's a 45 min drive and let him make it right. Seats needed stuffing.

Both cars had been repainted.

It's a complex process. I have a team of guys that do it. The use various buffing compounds depending on the type of paint. You can look up Cquartz dealers in your area. They have to be certified. I'm not saying you have to use their products, but the dealers should be able to advise you on the...

Talking with my interior guy now about what he can do with the front seats. Will see how close of a match we can get to stock and rebuild the bottom so I don't sink into them haha.
