I would like to replace the rear axle housing etc on my '62 300. This year was still a "full size" vs "C body" will a '65 C body and later housing fit?

Note: when I ran the fuel lines I omitted the rubber at the carb ends. The only rubber is on each side of the OEM style fuel filter. I despise rubber lines on engines. I used the ni-copper tubing, it's really easy to bend and not flatten or kink.

Stock 383 internals with a MoPar Performance "purple shaft" hydraulic flat tapped cam. RPM range is idle to 5800, lift is .450 intake/.475 exhaust. Good vacuum, excellent throttle response and it cruises great. The part # is P4529270AE Cloyes double roller timing chain and gears.

Gotcha, I have long rams on my '66 Newport and run the stock exhaust manifolds with 2 1/2" exhaust pipes.

Have you changed your blinker fluid from summer to winter? The colder temps affect the capacitor lumens. I think 45 lumens is the correct type for temps down to -30. It's probably the flasher unit actually....

You're rightfully nervous. Unless (even if) you are an expert metal fabricator, that cowl and roof rust looks serious. Can't help but wonder what other secrets are hidden (floor and trunk pans etc)There are experts here, but from my amature prospective, it looks like a potential money pit. I...

Keep in mind, when you do rebuild or improve your engine that you use a high zinc content oil for anti-wear properties in our old engines.
