FaceBook and FCBO don't play together, sadly. It drives me crazy. I wish @Joeychgo could fix this.

Since the do-over of the website's look, my signature photo went awol. I tried to edit my settings, but find I have to use a picture from a 3rd party host... so I used the one from my website. It's too big I think, and while it tries to load on my posts here on FCBO, it just doesn't work...

The person in question got my messages and has reset their settings. Interestingly, @Joeychgo and @Toolmanmike , he has no knowledge as to why things got changed, and agrees it was likely from the website glitch. Thanks for telling us where to go and reset the settings. All good now!

Thanks - they're a good friend, so I've already reached out to them that way, and expect to hear from them soon - after they're done work for the day.

Your experience kind-of mimics mine, and perhaps others', and therefore I think it's a site glitch. The person I'm referring too is too helpful to restrict access to his knowledge by turning conversations off.

I don't know - haven't heard from them here on the site, nor from personal messages sent through other social media. This person is a hard worker and is likely at work and unable to respond.

I was able to successfully create a conversation with you, and when I sent the message the site told me so. However, I ALSO got a site-based message afterwards (on the same page), that said "All members of this conversation to have permanently left the conversation". Odd!!

I get a site-based error message that says "You are not permitted to start a conversation with..."

I'm not sure if they're Golds or not, however, I don't think it's anything to do with their inbox, as I get an error message saying "You are not permitted to start a conversation with..."

The funny thing is that the blocker, if that's truly what they've done, is not someone with whom either of us have any difficulty with, and is in my case, a valued friend. I really don't think they've done that, and I would expect that if they had an "issue" with me, that they'd take it up with...

I know - I'm not sure if it's a glitch in the system, or if the person(s) I and others are trying to PM have "blocked" people...

Anyone experiencing difficulty in sending PMs to certain members? I can send to some, and others are having the site blocking me from including them in a PM. Curious. @Joeychgo ? :)
