"economical replacement" It's 290 USD, not exactly cheap. But the merit would be tires that fit and not dealing with Coker.

So true @Big_John. It still surprises me the fact that, with the amount of classics still driving around on their stock 14 inch wheels. The demand seems high but the production rate is at an all time low. It's like all the manufacturers are going away from white wall tires all together, I'll...

Took the car for a drive and it feels tighter/more responsive on steering inputs. But then again this might be the placebo of newly installed tires, which might have been an identical steering "feel" with the H724's, no matter, the car still needs new shoes for the rear still! Pardon the eye...

Yes I believe 9 years on the tires were a wee bit pushing it, but now that there seems to be another new line of tires (H735's) I might just go with those instead of going for an older model tire, regardless, the car still needs 2 pairs of new "shoes"! Unless the website is being wonky or my...

Not an idea I've disregarded yet, but the current 14 inchers just barely rub on the fender from steering lock to lock, no damage to the fender or any structural part of the car, botched alignment job?

Just to stick this as an FYI since I saw you gentlemen discussing tire longevity/reliability in wet weather. I daily drive my C body/forward look Chrysler going to college, so it's a bona fide daily, anywho I've used the Hankook H724 P215/75R14 98s and have had a few notable issues with them...
