    Yeah, that would have made an excellent Batmobile contender. I know Barris did customize Mopars in the sixties, but I guess the production company of the TV show was sponsored by Ford, which is why they had to use the Lincoln as the basis for the car?

    That second car family is the Lennon Sisters. On his show for about 9 years I think. The first woman is Alice Lon, the first champagne lady. She was later fired and Welk hired the beautiful Norma Zimmer for the remainder of the run of the show.
