My sons 96 cummins 4x4 has one..curious thing with it SOMETMES wen it's on the road it won't come out of first ?.He moves it into neutral then back to drive and it will start shifting ...sometimes it takes a couple tries but it eventually cycles thru to O.D...any ideas ???

if your tank does not leak you COULD acid wash it with old nuts n bolts in it shake it around repeat till clean ,rinse with water then use this

I seen where a guy put a V10 n trans out of a ford super duty into a P71 C.V and he had to use a "tone ring ????" attached to one of the rear wheels to tell ecu speed and other info it needed for shifting...will you have to do the same ?
