    Formal Hubcaps on a Slab?

That version is '74-6 Chrysler only. They also made a similar version that didn't have the Chrysler center. Instead it has a plain octagonal nut type center. They came on a variety of '74-8 Mopars including trucks!

Brake Service and Front Drums Mismatched

There were also three different suppliers of brake parts for Chrysler too. Motor Wheel, Budd, and Kelsey Hayes, so, the appearance will be different between the three brands (not to mention aftermarket replacement drums too). I've also found that they can have heating/cooling differences too...

    72 Polara front disc calipers?

Rebuilding them isn't all that hard. If the caliper isn't rebuildable for whatever reason and you need to find a replacement. The same caliper is used from '69-73 in a C-body, and also the '72 D100 pickup as well as the '71-2 B van.

    Tire balancing question

On-the-car spin balancers can be dangerous. We had a guy in the shop get killed by one back in the early 70's, when the balance head came loose from the wheel. Also, some FWD cars (and even a few RWD ones) could damage the differential spinning just that one tire.

    New front wheel hub rubbing

Usually, you can tell if you have a shoe/backing plate mismatch by eyeballing it. 3" shoes on a 2 1/2" plate will be cocked to where the inner part of the shoe would hit the drum, but, not the outer edge of the shoe. Going the other way they would be cocked the other way. The brake shoe surface...

    New front wheel hub rubbing

If the bearings came as a set (A2 outer, and A6 inner), the race is fully seated and fits snug in the hub, and the cone push fits on the spindle without slop, that shouldn't be an issue. There are some slight differences between manufactures of bearings, and just the manufacturing process of...

    New front wheel hub rubbing

Both size brakes used the same hub, just different drums. From the factory, the drum was staked to the hub using the studs.

Rear brake drums 1965 Plymouth Fury

From the photos you posted, those are not finned/ribbed. They were available both ways however and made from '65-75 on certain models. Even the '65-71 D100's used them. If they become too hard to find, you might think about gathering up a set of 11 X 2 1/2" backing plates along with all the...
