    i have to agree with stan. why bother. i had a 55 desoto with a fuel tank factory plug in it. for shits and giggles i drained the tank and there was nothing other than fuel. 60 year old tank. not worth the effort in my opinion.

    it looks like you have the sensor on the outlet of the thermostat housing i cant see how a temp gauge sensor on the outlet of the thermostat housing would serve any useful purpose. you want to monitor the engine temp at all times especially in the event of a thermostat failure. am i missing...

    if you go to mymopar.com and go to engine paint color guide 1960-1974 it will give you all of the engine colors for all engine sizes. print it off and there you will have it. it also gives you the mopar paint part number. cheers paul
