What is the unique plumbing in the trunk for? And, any idea why the engine air cleaner was replaced? Are these things unique to the Netherlands, or is that fuel injection?

It's crooked, and peeling. It's also amazing how the paint inside the air cleaner snorkel is flaking away, but not outside. There are lots of things wrong with the 29k mile claim on this car. You just have to look closely at the pictures, especially under the hood.
