    Carlisle 2021

This was when Carlisle did the "burnout contest". This pic was in one of the Mopar magazines. Bruce at the wheel with @march 's wife in the passenger seat. Note Purple Heart NY plate. Bruce was wounded in Viet Nam. If anyone's interested, found the rest of those 2003 photos in an old e-mail:

It was a very quiet day due to the rain. These are the C-bodies I saw on a quick walk:

I noticed a 67 & 69 Polara today, but didn't take photos because I didn't like the wheels. We still have 2 more days, so I'll try again since you're interested. John won't be be there tomorrow, but I should be, if it doesn't rain too much.

    Syracuse Nationals

This is just one of many reasons why I like this show: -The gas tank on a friend's 55 Chevy Bel Air started leaking, so we had to get it out of the building; -the same one we're parked in. Our friend injured his hand on his trailer, so he was busy at a local hospital. So, another friend and I...

Too many cars to take photos of, but here's one that caught my eye. It's not a true police package / no certified speedometer.

Nice post John. FYI, the info on that 57 Eldorado states that it was Sammy Davis Jr's car. -And the folks that run the show expect about 9,000 cars this year. There are hundreds on the show field now, and the show hasn't started yet. Who knows, they may set another record.

    Hershey C-Bodies

Sorry to hear. It must have sold on the last day. I could see it from the show field. There were several folks there from other countries. If I see another, I'll let you know. I forgot to mention: -One of the vendors there had several tables full of NOS Mopar parts, still in the original...

    Hershey C-Bodies

No, I don't think it did. It didn't leave until very late, and the owners/dealer's family were sitting with it until the end.

    Hershey C-Bodies

I understand. I thought the same thing, when I first saw it.

    Hershey C-Bodies

I wonder if this one was different. It appears to be from Buffalo, with a 716 area code. I totally agree with the crazy cloth description. LeRoy is a town in-between Rochester & Buffalo.

    Hershey C-Bodies

Here's a couple more photos. The forum only allows 10 per post. There was also an absolutely gorgeous, low mile, 73 Town & Country there. I could not get photos due to the crowd. It's worth every penny. This photo is all I could get. I would have looked into this further, but there...

    Hershey C-Bodies

Hershey was wonderful as usual this year, with several C-bodies for sale. Unfortunately I only got a couple of photos: A 1975 Imperial for $8,500. A 1974 Newport with the same folks, at about 12k miles, probably accurate. I forgot the price. It was very crowded. A 1978 NYB that was way...
