Where can I get suspension parts mainly shocks and springs for a 66 monaco/polara?

That's what I was thinking. I took the ball joint and tried to size a socket but couldn't find a match. This is obviously a special item, where do I get one?

I was going to use a pipe wrench and a long bar over the handle for leverage. I just thought there may be some kind of penetrating oil or something i could soak it with for a bit before i try again. i may get a socket for it. Friend of mine told me to soak it with diesel fuel or kerosene before...

When I Google lower ball joints it says for drum brakes and some are for disk brakes. What is the difference if the drum brake ball joints work?

The spindles are off a 73 c body

I'm converting my 66 monaco to disk brakes. I'm having a hard time finding lower ball joints. Can I use the original drum ball joints and arms for drum brakes on disk brake setup? Also where can I get them? Thanks

Thanks guys. I want to replace everything so I will just get the original 66 monaco drum parts and just replace the spindle.

I'm in the process of converting my 66 monaco from drum to disk. I picked up a front disk brake setup off a 73 new yorker. The question I have is what ball joints tie rods etc should I use? Can I use the original 66 drum setup or go with a 73 setup?

I was thinking oem parts. I was also thinking of just converting the front to disk and replacing the rear drum setup.

Can anyone tell me what I need to convert my 66 monaco to disk brakes?
