I had 2 of them in the past, I did the same, Wanted that CHROME! Well after I tried both times to save them sand grind, whatever, I did a simple swap back to a stock one, and problem solved. Let me know how you make out.

The chrome blisters away on the bottom causing corrosion to the aluminum causing chasing ur A$$ leaking, throw it away, get a stock, or that pretty billet one above......................

Those are known to corrode from the coolent, throw it away ASAP. I will look for a stocker for you.
