    Tree Sap

Where in the hell is there a tree at Carlisle! Seriously though I've been able to get tree sap off of my son's '87 LeBaron GTS with warm water and a good car wash detergent. There is also ample wax on his ride. Good luck.

    Front Bumper Removal 68 Fury.

Always soak your nut and bolts with penetrating spray a good few hours, or even a day, before you want to break them loose. This will give the penetrant time to work its magic. A good 1/2 inch drive breaker bar is always a must have for these jobs too. Good luck.

    Clearcoat peeling..any suggestions??

Late 80’s through early 90”s all of the manufacturers had their issues with de-lamination. IIRC they were trying to comply with new EPA guidelines for using less toxic solvent based paints. To correct the problem you had to sand down to bare metal and then repaint.

    1966 Rust Repair and Paint

Any work you can do yourself will save you money on the project obviously. The grunt work like removing trim pieces and bumpers are things you can do. Do you know of a body man who does side work? His overhead isn't as high and you pay him cash so you get a better price. Be careful though as...

The Difference Between a Good Paint Job and a FAB! Paint Job

I always considered paint & bodywork to be an art form. You either have "it" or you don't. I never did but always appreciated those who could do beautiful work. I have seen expensive shoddy work as well as reasonably priced jobs that looked amazing. Hats off to all of you out there who can...
