Your thoughts on paint color change 1966 Imperial convertible

Doing a color change correctly would involve a lot more time and money obviously. Not sure you would get your money back out of it if you were to sell after awhile. That is a big decision you will need to make. If it were mine, I'd keep the original color. That color is a great one on an...

    Power steering box recommendation/opinions?

I'd be careful with a cheap rebuilt steering gear. There is a real good chance it is a Cardone brand rebuild which are pretty much junk anymore. They basically clean and paint cores and call it rebuilt. Firm Feel and Steer & Gear are companies that are exclusively steering and suspension...

    Rear parking brake problem

As mentioned in an earlier post, Craig @mobileparts will be your best source for figuring out the correct part number for your application. There is a real good chance he even has the correct part you are looking for. When you call and leave a message he will get back to you. Many of us here...

My new rides … Cannuck Mobiles !

I'm on the ice a few times a week myself, playing hockey or stick time to improve my game. I'm hoping when I retire in 5 years or so, God willing, I can pick up some part time hours at the rink doing maintenance and driving the Zamboni. The big perk would be free ice time and use of the gym...

1967 Crown Coupe purchased at estate sale

Very nice score! One of my favorite Mopars ever, such a classy looking ride. Murphy's Oil Soap will work wonders on the leather and not dry it out. Lemon oil will bring out the wood nicely. Have fun.

Leaf springs on 68 Imperial same as other C bodies that year?

Imperials have a lot of parts on them that were probably rated for use on Dodge trucks. These were big, heavy cars and they were built accordingly. Glad to hear you found a good source for your springs.

    1965 convertible die cast

The town in my layout kind of resembles Carlisle the middle of July

    1965 convertible die cast

What scale are they? That is quite a find. I use a lot of 1/64 scale on my HO scale train & slot car layout I set up around the holidays. I know HO is 1/87 but most of my vehicles are 1/64 so one really doesn't notice.

'68 finally done... at least mostly.

That, my friend, is a beautiful Imperial! That is one of my favorite Chrysler Corp. colors too. You should be very proud of that car. Thanks for posting the pics in the period correct setting to boot.

    81=83 efi parts

It's worth what someone is willing to pay depending on how bad they need it. Those EFI systems were so problematic they were being converted to carbs when those Imperials were only a few years old. I can't imagine there are many Imperials left with the original EFI systems still functioning...

Tripple "Blackie" Imperial has made it home.

Very nice Imperial! You are going to need a lot of bodies for that push party.

    68 Mobile Director, not mine

Color looks to be Antique Ivory. That would be a real beauty when restored.
