I'll bet that flat opaque piece of plastic is what fits over this hole? See my light is in place an mounted proper in behind the panel and when it comes on it shines light fairly good but that hole just looks unfinished to me.

Yes, mine is the same then the lower left dash panel fits over ignition lock an screws to the dash.

Finally got lights all the way across the dash to glove box working and remembering that just above the ignition is the opening that the light shines through. shouldn't there be a lens cover for this hole in the lower plastic dash panel surrounding the ignition lock. My time delay light works...
