    here is a thought if the distributor is wore out it will do that . if you have an extra one or know someone who does pop a new one in . my road runner did that to me once i changed it out she has run fine .

    Fixed one issue another popped up

    spray carb cleaner all around the intake while running and listen for any change if the motor changes you still have a vacuum leak on the intake

    i stand corrected it was for tappet noise . from experience it helps my car to start better when hot due to the gas not boiling out of the carb . i learned something new today i can go home now

    Is this an easy power steering leak fix?

    before you replace the O-rings put a mark on each side of the parts so you can aline it back up close to that is was. if you need to adjust do it very little at a time . thats how i did it on my 72 newport the O-rings were leaking . with the marks there you know you started just in case

    Cyl heads.

    My 68 imperial had a skip and i found it had # 5 cylinder valve guide was worn i put 440 source heads on and it runs great .
