    Here are mine going up and over the rear axle. Most all know what the tips look like so no need to put that pic up. First pic is an original pipe in the original hanger. Next two pictures are the new pipes with alternate hangers following the same route.

    You have to take this one with a grain of salt since he was in artillery in the Army. His hearing is shot... I have Dynomax on my 360 Polara. Not the 13" which drone terribly, but the 20" which don't and have a low muted rumble.

    My Polara initially had 13" Dynomax super turbos on it. Their main problem was drone, both auditory and seat of the pants, inside the car. I could hear it and feel it at the same time. Very annoying. Lasted three weeks till I could swap them out for the 20" version. Nice sound, no drone.

    Take a look at this site that does a quick calculation for exhaust size. Didn't see it two years ago when doing the calculations for my cars. Here those calculations are already done and he gives a chart that is easy to follow...

    I could go through all the math on this pointing out how much air each pipe size can flow. Then compare that with how much air your heads can flow and at different RPMs. Long and short is that larger pipes flow more air and if you run high RPMs then it is what you need. If you go too big for...

    I'll also chip in with good luck with Pertronix. Actually I have 5 cars running Pertronix with two of them having original units from their first year of production. My Polara runs a Pertronix II.
