    What strength threadlocker?

    I am hoping to start assembling the 440 I have here in the next couple of weeks and I don't remember what strength threadlocker I used to use on the rod bolt threads. I used to use a Permatex blue color, but which one escapes me now. Anyone care to offer advice?

    Oil pump question

    I am considering going with the Melling high volume oil pump in my 440 mainly because it is almost ten bucks cheaper than the standard Melling oil pump, the HV unit pumps 25% more oil, but Im wondering if it may in fact over pressure the system in normal driving conditions?

    440 engine code need decoding

    I have a 1978 440 motor here and the pad reads "8T 440 EHP". My best guess is the 8t is for 1978 and the EHP is for cast crank high performance? Anyone got a firm idea on this?

    I pulled the outer bearings out of my front 11in drums a few weeks ago and got them mixed up moving stuff about, does it matter which bearing goes back into each front drum or am I going to have to fork out for new wheel bearing sets?
