I drove approx 20 miles today starting out with a little stiffer steering wheel than normal by the time I got home I had NO power steering I jacked the front end off the ground and still stiff but a little better With the car on the ground I have to use all my strength to move steering wheel...

What is this tube just below the fuel pump ????? I was reading to hold up the rod when installing the pump....I don't see any rod....... I was feeling around in there & there is nothing to hold up This is the pump I took off

It has power steering....fluid is full......fanbelt is fine.....I'm lost
