I purchased two front brake hose for my Polara, they're about 1" too short. The guy at NAPA says they should be the right ones. Anybody else run into this problem?
I found this old Goodyear and brought it home. I don't know much about vintage tires so I was hoping somebody here might know what it fits. E-70-15 4ply, has the number 350 on the sidewall.
Anybody know the casting numbers for a 73 spindle? I'm still trying to identify what I have. Casting number on one looks like 3402675, the other is unreadable.
I have a 72 Polara with disk brakes, I found a set of the larger 1973 spindles, can I just swap out the spindle or do I need to change the caliper mounting hardware as well?
I'm thinking of running a 15x8 steel rim with 4.5" back space, not sure what size tire would work best, 235/60/15 or 235/70/15? Car is a 1972 Polara sedan. Would a 245 be too big? I want to run the same size front and rear.
As you know if your looking for tires for a C body there aren't a lot of choices. I spoke to a local tire shop that has a set of 255/60/15, they've been sitting around awhile. Said he will check the brand and the date code and get back to me with a price.
I'm thinking of going with 15x8 steel rims for my 72 Polara, the most popular tire size seems to be 275/60/15. Anybody running this combination care to share your thoughts?
