I noticed that it was just flopping around. Turns out, one of the cable has broken off from the original weld point. Do you think I should be able to fix it pretty easily? I don't feel like dropping a couple hundred on a mirror if I can help it.

Ok, so on my '66 Monaco, the guy pulled the rods that hold the hood up. My question is: What is the correct way that these should be installed? Does anyone have any pics? Also, is there anything that migh go on the end of the rods in the fenders?
