I've started cleaning up the firewall and under belly using the 3M rust & paint removing wheels which last about 5 minutes each. At $10 a pop here at the local outlet, that is a bit on the expensive side of things. These things do a great job at removing the crusties & surface rust but...

Now that I have removed them, I need to get the side brackets that the stub frame attaches to off the body so i can more easily repair them.. There is what i believe to be clips that look like they are holding the bottom of the bracket on still. Has anyone removed these before? Have a look!
