*FOUND* Miller special tool of unknown application

Greetings all. This evening in my work room, I rediscovered an old tool I purchased some 25+ years ago at a flea market. It appears to be some sort of seal driver. Stamped on the tool are the words Miller Tools, Detroit C-579. I was hoping someone can help me solve the mystery as to its intended...

I found this in the workroom today

I came across this old part my dad had given me around 1989 or so when the Chrysler/Plymouth dealer he worked at closed. It looks like some kind of lock mechanism but I haven't seen it before. Any thoughts as far as its application?

    junkyards in/near El Paso, TX

Folks, Next year, I will be spending about 10 months in the El Paso, TX area. Does anyone have any information or leads on any good salvage yards that may be worth a visit? I have two 1973 Polaras, both of which could benefit from some rust free fenders; one needs a driver's side trunk...

TV/Movie stars and their love for Mopars

I had heard that John Schneider of Dukes of Hazzard fame owned a convertible 69' Polara that he adored. While it is well known that he also owned a certain orange Charger of the same year, I began to wonder if other celebrities (aside from Jay Leno of course) were Mopar fans and if anyone knew...

    Cool finds in my workroom

As I was going through my work/storage room today I came across a bunch of old tools my grandfather had given me about 30+ years ago. I spent the majority of my day wiping them down with a shop towel and WD-40. It didn't take long for me to realize that they deserved a place of respect. I then...

Folks, I live in Niceville, Florida which is located roughly 90 minutes from Pensacola to my west and Panama City to my east. I am looking for any vintage junkyards that have late 60s-early 70s Mopars?

Any old comic book fans here? I need some help finding something.

For some reason I found myself thinking of this old comic book I bought in either the mid to late 70's or very early 80's. It was this mystery suspense sort of comic and all I can remember about it was this huge eyeball on the cover. I can vaguely remember two of the stories from the issue. One...

Burt Reynolds' "White Lightning" 71' Ford Galaxie question

Gents, I know that this is a Mopar dedicated site but I would like to know if anyone knows of any websites or message boards that specialize or deal with the 71' Ford that Burt Reynolds drove in the film "White Lightning". Although I am a die hard Mopar fan I do appreciate a full sized...

Using antique auto plates in FL, need help.

Greetings, I just moved to FL this summer and since my registration from NC is about to expire I am considering changing over to Fl. I have seen some vintage car owners use antique plates on their rides and I wanted to know if you can do this in FL. I am interested in using a plate from 1973...
