    Almost A Driver

    Got the transmission in, got the fuel system relatively clean and it runs good. Next up is brake work. After that I hope to have a title and be able to start driving it. Did a quick wash on it today. Looks much better.

    Disappointment

    My 70 300 convertible is missing the fender tag so I hoped I could find a build sheet and have one made. I found it but not readable. Bummer. Oh well, it's not a super valuable hemi car or anything like that.

    My 1948 Desoto that sits on a 2001 Ram 2500 chassis won't start. It cranks but won't fire. It has a stock 5.9 fuel injected motor. It is getting spark but it's an erratic spark.     The 70 Challenger convertible is done so now I'm starting on a 70 Charger. Going to be a resto mod. Good solid car to start with but ALOT of body damage. Needs a trunk pan and a rear valance but other than that no sheet metal replacement.

    I can't help it. I got my seats back for my 66 New Yorker today so I got ready to put in the new carpet and seats. When I took the old carpet out I took pictures of the floor to show you "Rust Belt" guys what a 46 year old floor can look like. LOL.
