Thinking back to our conversation on luggage racks, I got to thinking about add on FM units. My 65 has an FM receiver add on that mounts under the dash (from JC Penny). If I were guessing it would be a 70s unit. Did Chrysler offer units like that for their cars?

Were any luggage racks ever offered on Slab Sides? I've never seen one, but for the C bodies I got to thinking that it seems like a feature that might have existed.

I believe (if I read correctly) that 62 brought in a new Imperial that looked C-body-ish. How closely related are they if at all?

Called Murray Park today. They said that gas tanks for the 65s are in the works. No date or cost, but still cool that at least the bellies for these beasts will be able to be had. I didn't ask, but I assume that won't include wagons.

I thought I had read 15" wheels were an option in 65. If so, what were the correct hub caps? I can't seem to find that info I "thought" I read so I could be confusing it with other cars.

Does anyone know off the top of their head what the track width is outside tire to outside tire of a 65 Fury?

Were all colors available on 65 4dr interior or were some 2dr only? I know... I'm full of questions. I only ask when books and Google/Yahoo fails me.

I've not seen them on a 65 and was curious. I just noticed a set on pics of a 66 300. So was 66 the first year for them? My 68 Barracuda had them and the 67 Monaco the guy I bought the barracuda from also had them. I know they were somewhat common, just wasn't sure what year they came out.

Does anyone have photos of their 65 fury 4 speed? I was reading that these were hurst shifters and had a square hump rather than the round ones in 66 on.

So I've read a lot about the drivers side motor mount on 65 furys. The wagon had a 383 (pulled before I got it) but I intend on putting a stroked poly in it. Can anyone school me on the driver side motor mount? All I have been able to glean is that they are hard to find and are unique to the 65...

Anyone done a 4sd conversion on a 65 fury? I'm still learning about C bodies (know a lot more about A and B bodies). Anything peculiar?

So I've just bought both a 65 fury wagon and a fury 4dr parts car. Both fury IIIs. The 4dr is a hardtop. I had no idea they were like that. Are they all like that?

I've seen new gaskets for convertibles and hard tops, but nothing for the sedans. Are they available new?

The fender tag was removed and only the trans remains. I haven't looking for build sheet yet. Are there any other tell tale signs of which big block a car may have had? I expect not if it's like B and A bodies... since the vin's don't indicate it on a 65.
