In my job I travel pretty much all of New England and try to keep a look out for prizes on the side of the road. Today on my way to a meeting I spotted a 72 fury on the side of the road, but couldn't stop. At the end of the day I routed back and looked it over. 72 Fury's are one of my favorites...

I am trying to remove the latches from a 70 fury convertible top. Have removed the two small bolts and the nut beside them. They still won't come out and don't want to break them trying to force them. Is there something else holding them? Top frame is off the car. Thanks

Finally got to start on it. Up on blocks and been underneath. It has stood up to time much better than I expected. Aside from all brake lines the gas tank appears to be the only thing that needs replacing. Can anyone tell me if there is a place offering new, or is used the only choice?
