While looking for parts for my Fury, I stumbled across this among other c-bodies in my top secret hunting ground.

Sorting out the battery hold down. This formed rod was in the battery tray when I got the car. Does it even go on this car? Dime is to show how much money I have left after Christmas.

I’m stumped as to what this is thing is. It’s plastic, only fastened at the bottom, and the hole at the top doesn’t line up with anything. There’s not one on the other side and this one is just flopping around. Anyone know?
