A while back, someone posted a picture of a hammer that they found under their intake manifold. I can't find it. Does anyone remember that, and can you post a link? THx.

    a new toy

I've had my eye on this truck for a few years. It's on one of my running/walking routes. I saw the owner's wife outside a couple weeks ago and asked them to get hold of me if they decided to sell. I got a call a few days later and made the deal yesterday. Should be fun!

Fender tag question (non C body)

Anyone know what the faint "44" means in the top right corner of this tag? It looks like it was hand-stamped. Thx.

    auto dollies?

With auto dollies, are you able to easily push a car around in a garage with a nice concrete floor? I've been trying to sell my car because it can hardly fit in the garage, and has to be pushed all the way against the wall so I can't back it out or open the hood. If I could easily move it...

Does anyone know how late in the year a new Challenger can be ordered? we had a cherry blossom storm last night. Most of the petals stayed on even after a trip to the hardware store. Got a lot of smiles on the drive.

Longest walk for our dog since she had TPLO surgery a couple months ago. The Chevelle has been sitting there since at least 2008.

    ignition analyzers?

Would any of these things be useful for working on our cars, assuming one learned how to use them? They are at a local garage sale and not very expensive. There is also a Heathkit tube-testing unit, which seems like it could be useful for radios in older cars. Thx.

    Spare tire on 2015 caravan?

I learned tonight that our van does not have a spare. We lowered the mechanism and it was empty. The van came with a device for inflating a punctured tire. Is it possible that vans with that device dont come with a spare?

    Carpet for Plymouths?

I've got a thread going on the interior forum about this (Need floor measurement), but wanted to take it to a wider audience because I think it will be of general interest. I've got a 1970 Fury, and I ordered a carpet from Trim Parts. It didn't fit quite right--in the rear section of the...

A few years back, I took these pics while visiting some friends in the San Juan Islands. (If you click on the images you will go to galleries with a bunch more pictures). Let the "it'll buff right out" and patina comments begin!

    guardianships

Because a co-worker is on maternity leave, I find myself having to deal with the appointment of guardians for incapacitated persons. The cases are depressing. They usually involve the incapacitated person arriving at a hospital without having appointed a durable power of attorney to make...
