The Majestic Four. Pair of Duces? Pair of Pairs...And you've got a convertible hiding in there too. Nice. And.., a biplane for a midget! I like the graphic effect that you included, that's cool too. You do realize you've got room for at least six more, don't you? Starting with the aeroplane: Aeroplane > Vertical Lift > Vertical & Lift........3 triple car lifts, side by side......or a fixed steel rack with a mobile lift. And once you optimize all of that wasted space, YOU GET TO GO OUT AND BUY SIX MORE! See how that works? Anybody looks at you sideways, you just stick to your story..."It's an investment". What country is represented on the tags? What does the OCCASION CENTRUM translate to?
Haha ...thanks.
I have 2 more , 63 sport fury and a 72 fury gran coupe coming next week.
The tags at the first and last car are Dutch ( Holland ) / ( the Netherlands )
The occasion centrum sign is from a Simca/Chrysler dealer here from the 70,s.
I only use a 1/4 of that place , the rest is from a friend and his brother , he has a 68 coronet , 64 dodge 440 and his brother a 72 frod.........wagon .
Well, you guys are lucky to have such a nice facility to house your cars and to be able to work and play with them under roof. And, too, there is strength in numbers. I'm sure a lot of us could get much further along into enjoying our hobby if we were able to band together some how and own a large, communal facility. But we are all pretty far flung from each other. Holland.., My main customer hales from Holland. He and his family moved to the U.S. in the 1950's(?) and founded Metrolina Greenhouses, located in Huntersville, NC (North Carolina). It is a massive facility and the family members are the most wonderful folks to be around, let alone to work with. The Family name is VanWingerton....ring any bells? Thanks for explaining the nomenclature, which were foreign to me.
You are exactly right. I took out one of the contracts and looked at the name. van Wingerden is what it says. There is another huge greenhouse company in Kalamazoo, Mi.. We outsiders look at that Mi. company as the competition, but I believe it is another off-shoot of the van Wingerden family that owns it as well. Small world.
