383 2-barrel, 727, 8.75 open diff, 55,000 miles
No A/C, drum brakes (no boost), added TTI dual exhaust. AM radio.
Bought from original owner -(the 'granny', actually a nice little old lady in Granite City was a school teacher & finally got too old to drive the Polara - almost a cliche old car story, right?) in 2005. Some rust in the rear fenders & a nice size hole in the trunk.
2009, engine pulled and did a gasket rebuild on oil pan, valve covers, water pump, timing cover, crank seal, manifolds, etc, new paint
