Hi

I am looking for a 4 Bow Headliner for my 1971 Plymouth Fury III with the 23 Style Roof. I ordered a Headliner from SMS Autofabric, but it doesn't fit. SMS did not attach the Sailpanels. now I'm looking for an Alternative. SMS offered me to make the Headliner again, but i need a Drawning for that.
Is there a finished Drawning for the Headliner? Can someone help me out?

Thanks

@Analog Kid had his local Virginia shop do his 1972 2dr Fury iii. I have seen it in person and it looks great.

Please let us know what your solution is. I'll be facing the same problem with my 23 body Fury. Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestion. This said, I checked out their offerings for 1971 Dodge Monacos and all are vinyls — not one choice matches the original fabric. Am I missing something ?

If you want the correct fabric, you probably are only going to find it at SMS. I went through this with my Barracuda. I really wanted the correct fabric and got samples from everyone... Which is how I found out they all use Acme. All my samples came from the same address.

What you can do is order samples and match accordingly. No one really examines headliners... LOL... and close counts.

Resuscitating this thread as @71Polara383 and I have started redoing the vinyl top on Medina, my 1971 Monaco, and I would like to take the opportunity to redo the headliner if possible (the current one is in OK shape, but not as clean as the rest of the interior).

When I ordered a sample from SMS for the car a few years ago, they sent me vinyl (which is incorrect: the original is a wafered fabric; strangely they had the correct headliner material for Buttercup, my 1972 NYB).

Newstalgia (recommended by @cbarge) offers a single kind of vinyl, which is only available in off-white.

Stock Interiors proposes several types of materials, but none seems to be correct -- though they offer white and off-white.

Anyone with recommendations? Any suggestion for a car that would have the same (or almost the same) fabric headliner material as that in a 1971 Monaco?

Did you ever find anything? I’m in need of a headliner for my 73 Fury III and I’m thinking I have the same headliner as yours. Do you have any pics?

Hello My headliner is currently from SMS Autofabrics. I cut this to size and sewed it on myself. But there was a suitable headliner. However, I don't know where this came from. I'll go to the warehouse later and take a look.

Here is a couple pictures of what’s left of my headliner in my spring special 73 Fury III. Not sure who would have this material.
